HMS carabiner prevents accidental cross-loading
The Smart HMS 2.0 carabiner from Mammut is built to prevent accidental cross-loading thanks to its safety gate and stops it from twisting when attached to the belay loop. Thanks to this safer system, you’ll feel more at ease whilst belaying. The carabiner has a screw-lock, which will only fit over the safety gate when the carabiner is closed. The 93 g Smart HMS 2.0 carabiner is lightweight, yet has a high vertical breaking load of 28 kN.
