The Pertex Shield Air fabric of the rain jacket is super light, compactly packable, absolutely waterproof and highly permeable to water vapour thanks to the extremely fine-pored nanofibre structure in the membrane. This means you stay dry from the inside and outside at all times, even when you're very wet and exerting yourself. If you do need a little extra ventilation, the X-Vented underarm venting comes to the rescue. The sporty cut with pre-shaped sleeves also offers you maximum freedom of movement.
The hood comes with a reinforced brim, is helmet-compatible and, like the hem of the jacket, can be easily adjusted with one hand and gloves. Last but not least, the spacious, climbing harness- and backpack-compatible zip front pockets, the zip sleeve pocket and the inner pockets provide plenty of storage space on the tour. Great!
