This jacket reliably repels water
The Eiger Free Advanced HS Hooded Jacket from Mammut is a GORE‑TEX hardshell designed for changeable weather. It is waterproof and windproof.
At the same time, it is breathable (RET 14–20), allowing moisture to escape to the outside while walking. The DWR coating helps water bead up and roll off the outer fabric.
Underarm zips keep you cool
When you hit a steep section, you can quickly adjust the temperature using the underarm zips. The helmet-compatible, adjustable hood fits securely and protects against wind and rain.
At the front, a full-length 2-way front zip with a storm flap allows for flexible ventilation. There are also two zipped chest pockets, two zipped front pockets and two inside pockets. A drawstring hem, elasticated inner cuffs, hook-and-loop fasteners on the sleeves and a powder skirt complete the design.
RECCO reflector aids rescue efforts
This jacket is designed for high-altitude tours, expeditions and freeriding – from Mammut’s Eiger Extreme collection. For added visibility, it features an integrated RECCO reflector, which is a passive reflector that professional rescue teams can locate using a detector.
