Whether as a lightweight fleece jacket or as an insulating and breathable mid-layer, the Aenergy Light ML Hooded Jacket from Mammut is a functional all-rounder that is perfect for athletic activities all year round. Suitable for hiking, ski touring and climbing, the fleece jacket impresses with its highly elasticated Polartec Power Grid material. The lightweight jacket dries very quickly and wicks moisture away from the body to the outside.
Athletic fleece jacket with hood
The hood of the Aenergy Light ML Hooded Jacket is cut so that it can be worn comfortably under a climbing helmet. The athletic design of the multifunctional fleece jacket from Mammut is complemented by flat seams and a bonded chest pocket with a zip.
Mammut uses recycled polyester, polyamide, and stretchy elastane in the production of the jacket. It is Fair Wear and bluesign certified.

I got this as a mid layer for cooler days hiking in Scotland and Ireland, and particularly because it is very lightweight.
First impression was that it was so light it would not really add much warmth, but in use it really proved very effective.
If you are a gram counter this is worth considering.
