Product description
The 9.5 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope from Mammut is the ideal single rope for alpine climbing and mountaineering. It’s cut-resistant and fulfils all the standards of a dynamic climbing rope. The Core Protect Rope has an extra sheath made of aramid between the polyamide outer sheath and core to better protect the rope from sharp rock and metal edges. In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath unfurls thanks to its extra-long construction, and the rope will behave just as dynamically as any other Mammut rope. The handling properties and abrasion resistance remain the same, but the cut resistance is increased! Whether you’re mountaineering, single or multi-pitch climbing or ice climbing, you’ll be well equipped with the Core Protect Rope.
