The Heel Lock with integrated EVA foam deliberately fills the typical gaps found around the Achilles tendon so that your heel sits better in the shoe. As a result, heel hooks are better controlled and the risk of unwanted slipping is dramatically reduced. In addition, the taut toe box ensures that power is transferred cleanly via the tip of the foot when you need to place a powerful toe hook or pull yourself up on small overhangs.
