Perfect for long hill walks: Meet the Skare II Mid from Lundhags. These boots follow the shell principle: The durable outer shell consists of waterproof rubber at the bottom, while the collar features high-quality Perwanger leather.
Underneath, you’ll find a soft liner made of wool felt, which can easily be removed and used as a slipper thanks to the reinforced heel.
In addition, the Skare II Mid is equipped with a Vibram-Curcuma outsole and a toe cap to guarantee not only tired-free, comfortable feet after long tours but also to protect your toes against shocks.

Lundhags of Sweden make some exceptional boots, and this is no exception. This is a boot that can keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable, whatever the conditions.
I purchased mine during a sale event at Alpinetrek for just under £200 or €220.
I'm confident you won't find a better Winter outdoor boot ANYWHERE for that price.
