Tough leather approach shoes

The TX4 Evo from La Sportiva are the perfect choice for technical approaches in rough terrain! These approach shoes feature a hard-wearing suede upper with a rubber rand and a protective rubber toe cap. Meanwhile, a breathable mesh lining ensures optimal moisture management and a comfortable fit.

Reliable performance in tricky areas

For the outsole, La Sportiva has opted for a high-traction Vibram Megagrip rubber sole with a climbing zone which, together with the Impact Brake System lugs, offers maximum grip and stability in any situation. Plus, an EVA midsole provides the shoes with pleasant cushioning, while the comfortable OrthoLite Hybrid Approach footbed ensures high levels of comfort. The TX4 Evo are also equipped with the patented Resole Platform technology from La Sportiva, making the approach shoes easy to resole. With the TX4 Evo from La Sportiva, you can always remain comfortable on the rocks!

Footbed not anatomical

I tried these new TX4 on and immediately felt a bump beneath ball of the foot.
Such bump should be where arch is, not where ball of the foot is. So I am not thrilled.
I will continue to wear old TX4, which have more anatomical footbed.
These are also higher from the ground.
