Reviews overview
Advantages
This is what other customers say:
Excellent, easy to adjust, light weight, nice feel to the grips. I slide up and down the grips very easily without having to adjust at all. All in all, very happy with this purchase. (ps - my wife bought a pair of Lekis at the same time I bought these, they were difficult to adjust, alsways slipping, and ultimately I broke the plastic fastener clip too easily. The Komperdell clip is aluminium, not plastic!)

Advantages
Ergonomic handle Robust Excellent shock absorption Price / performance Easy to adjust Lightweight
Hi Sarah, The weight here is approximately 620g per pair.
Bought these poles after trying several different brands of similarly priced hiking poles. I was specifically looking for shock absorption and these poles were far superior to the others.
I bought them for trekking through Winay Wayna to Machupicchu and hiking the two peaks. They were also helpful for rocky landings while cruising the Galapagos. The poles are easily adjustable and fit easily into the backpack when not needed. I would shorten the poles on significant uphill and lengthen for downhills.
I damaged a clip while traveling. The company is sending me a replacement with no questions asked - just a photo of the damaged clip.
