Product description
Lightweight road running shoes that are wide at the toes
The Addict Pro-R running shoes from the German brand Joe Nimble are ideal for long-distance runs on tarmac. They've got strong cushioning with excellent energy return and an extra wide toe with special ToePilot Support. This allows your toes to move freely and supports the natural push-off movement. They promote a stable running motion.
Light and dynamic construction
The airy upper material is very breathable and extremely light. The sole construction of lightweight Pebax foam and an abrasion-resistant Vibram outsole with excellent grip provides a pleasantly soft yet powerful walking experience with a heel height of 27mm. Plus, there is a 6mm of the removable insole. It absorbs impact forces and returns some of the energy on rebound.
Conclusion
The Addict Pro-R are high performance long distance running shoes that are also ideal for races. Thanks to the spacious toe box, they are ideal for runners who value a natural running style.

I was excited to try out the shoe as it is a rarity in my country (Poland). Unfortunately, they didn't not come up to my expectations. Why? Even though the midsole material is great, there's way too much thick rubber coverage (in the red/pink version even more than in the yellow version-that's really weird) and it makes the whole sole unit like a solid brick! Ok, the Vibram rubber may last forever, but come on, the shoe has to flex to make the foam do its job. The tongue is too thin, therefore provides insufficient protection against lace bite. Finally, the fot-shaped toebox is not fully compatible with the Roman foot shape (the Altra and Topo toeboxes fit me perfectly). In summary, they may have wanted to make the shoe great, but it's overdone - too heavy and too clunky, it weighs more than all my trail shoes, which is unacceptable.
