Product description
For great winter tours in easy to medium terrain: the Expert by Inook! The classic all around model is comfortably light-weight and offers optimized lateral support, which makes walking on vast snowfields a real pleasure.
Six steel spikes and a front traction claw with three saw teeth provide a strong grip - making downward slopes easy to handle. The 2-stage frame construction was designed in line with the Inooks 3D Wing Concept, giving the snowshoe the upswing needed in deep snow and facilitating effortless walking. Moreover, the frame is open at the back so as to discharge snow and prevent jamming.
The binding plate of the Expert snowshoes is fixed at the front and sides, keeping the foot in the right position at all times. Walkers automatically roll their feet in the correct angle along the free running metal joint (that is along the bond axis), which makes for fatigue-free and joint-friendly walking. In addition, every step is buffered by integrated shock absorbers (silicone soft pad shock absorbers). The automatic heel step can be fixed in 3 positions: for planes and gentle slopes, and for medium to steep slopes, as well as a fixing point for transport. In the heel lift position, the shoes heel area is lifted by approx. 5 cm - this makes climbing significantly easier.
All materials used are extremely hard-wearing and cold-resistant (tested for up to -40°C). The NT binding is length and width-adjustable on both sides - it fits all snowshoe models and indicated shoe sizes (and even snowboard boots!). The Expert comes with a practical transport bag ready for winter touring!
