Love this bag! Pleased to discovery Gregory. It's big but can be compressed when needed. Small enough for a day sack & fits plenty of food and layers, but big enough for short trips especially if staying in a hotel/B&B. My go to bag fit almost everything including commuting to work.

I did so much research trying to find my perfect backpack and thought this was finally it, but alas not.
I found no matter what way I packed things, even when not full, it would have the sensation of pulling backwards. Maybe I'm just not built for airflow bags, as my current one doesn't have that and I've removed the frame for an even more natural fit.
I was disappointed, as it feels durable and I like the colour, pockets and weight.
The side pockets stretch for a Nalgene bottle and there's a great, generously size hip belt pocket that I loved.
Also the sizing options are great, I find usually even ladies backpacks are too long for my torso and stick above my shoulders, and found that even with the S/M of this pack, but the XS was a great fit for my 16" torso.
Wish it carried better, but maybe will work for you as generally reviews seemed great.
