Made of a durable blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton, better known as G-1000 Eco, the winter jacket is both weatherproof and stable. Plus, warmth is guaranteed by the padded insulating layer made of recycled raw materials.

In addition to the insulating layer weighing 150 g/m² on the body and 100 g/m² on the arms, Fjällräven equipped the Vardag Lite Padded Jacket with a wide storm flap, a high collar and an adjustable hood. Plus, you can adjust the width of the sleeve ends and the hem to prevent the cold from coming in.
The flexible sleeves, the chest pockets, front pockets and the classic 70s logo wonderfully complete the functional Fjällräven winter jacket.

Just received the jacket, will keep it, definitely a big jump in quality over my cheap decathlon jacket. The material feels heavy duty and looks stylish and you can see the attention to detail, albeit with a significant price increase over some decent budget options. Sizing is strange, with a height of ~183cm I'm usually size L, this one is M and still very roomy, definitely on the larger size for me. The sleeves are a bit longer and the shape is boxy, it would look nicer if there was some waist cut. It's a bit heavier because of the blended fabric even though it's less padded than my cheap polyester sh500. All in all, I'm highly satisfied with the purchase, even though the cost of the garment made me second guess myself. I think it should last me for many years to come.
