Durable trekking trousers with pockets
The Barents Pro Trousers from Fjällräven are durable outdoor trousers for men that are ideal for classic trekking tours and hikes. They are characterised by their durability and the multitude of useful pockets. Whether you need to store your smartphone, map or pocket knife, everything will find its place.
Long service life
The trousers are made of Fjällräven's own G-1000 Eco fabric. This material is made of organic cotton and recycled polyester, which makes the trousers very durable. You can sit on rough grounds or climb over rocks without ruining them. High-wear areas such as the knees are additionally reinforced. The articulated fit of the knees also increases comfort. In addition, there are openings into which additional knee pads can be inserted. However, these are not included in the delivery.
All in all, the Barents Pro Trousers are extremely practical trekking trousers that you will enjoy for a long time.

I use these trousers all around the globe, from mountain to jungle. Admittedly a little warm and heavy for jungle use but thick enough nothing pierces them.
Great cut and a nice length, specially for us taller guys.

The sizing is accurate and the fit regular. The fit is improved over the older version so best to refer to thr measurements in the size chart .
Note: These also have a raw unfinished leg lenght so the user can turn up to suit.

I 've been using this pair of pants for almost a year now for hikes in Greece mostly during September-June. The fabric is durable (I 've been traversing through bushes and vegetation with small thorns with no issues), quite breathable (you 'll sweat on a Greek hot day but not that bad), water-repellent (not waterproof) to a good degree and really light. The butt & knee reinforcements are a good thing. I love the deep side-pockets and the leg-pockets which are smartly placed, sizeable and there is a mess-pocket inside one for your smartphone (easily holding a 6 inch one). The cut is really nice as it doesn't restrict you leg movement and looks quite nice.
