Product description
Boulderers and sport climbers who are still looking for performance shoes that provide maximum performance in hard terrain have found just the right item with the Hiangle by Five Ten. For a long time the Five Ten top seller and purportedly the most worn athletic shoe at various competitions, these climbing shoes in a newly designed 2020 version are especially suitable for use in the Olympic Combined mode, when it is all about precision and speed in lead climbing as well as bouldering.
Due to the material made of synthetic microfibre (the predecessor was made only of leather!), the shoes are not only breathable but mould to the individual shape of the foot like a second skin after a couple of climbing sessions. With its individual hook and loop fastener, the Hiangle offers a perfect compromise between a traditional hook-and-loop shoe and a slip-on shoe.
The established Stealth C4 rubber blend offers maximum grip. The special feature of the 2020 model, however, is its two-part outsole and the newly designed heel area. Five Ten paid attention here to feedback from the professionals and provided on the one hand greater sensitivity and additional weight savings. Secondly, the heel now fully enclosed in rubber offers even more stability on hooks and provides greater heel tension.
What has not changed is its asymmetric shape. Five Ten has not taken any risks here and has not made any changes. That means: If the old Hiangle fitted then the new design will also suit you. All in all, therefore, a solid all-rounder. According to the motto: Make what is good even better!

This is what other customers say:
other shoes didn't really fit my foot shape like some beginner scarpa shoes and some ocun shoes. these after a few sessions really mold to your foot and have a nicely shaped heel and good toe hook. i would recommend getting this model same as street shoe size if you want your toes to be a bit bent.
