Product description
Compact climbing backpack with a roll-top closure
The compact Black Ice 30 from Exped is a must-have for your next via ferrata or on the way to the boulders. On the outside, you can attach your ice tools with optional buckles and there are additional loops for your climbing gear. Plus, there is a weatherproof zip pocket on the outside to quickly store your map or guide. You can use the compression straps over the roll-top to compress the luggage in the main compartment to keep your load compact and out of the way. As for the wide straps and removable foam back panel, they ensure comfort. The load is evenly distributed thanks to the close fit, the removable hip straps and the height-adjustable sternum strap.
Weatherproof
The outer material is made of waterproof, durable RIPSTOP fabric. The main compartment is also fully taped. This makes the Black Ice 30 a good choice even in heavy rain. Plus, PFC-free materials were used, which is better for the environment. As always, the Black Ice 30 from Exped has a stylish design that will perfectly round off your casual outfit.

Hi Steven,
Replacement straps and buckles are, unfortnately, not available as spares. If the buckle has broken as result of damage , I see no reason why you could not replace the buckle with something like the following:
https://www.alpinetrek.co.uk/basic-nature-steckschliesse-strap-buckle/
Replacement nylon webbing can be found easily on the likes of eBay.
If however, the buckle has broken as a result of material failure then that will fall under warranty and if that is the case , please contact our warranty team via the following link:
