Product description
Lightweight, yet mighty powerful - the Skimmer Eco Dry 7,1 half rope from Edelrid.
The made in Germany climbing rope is one of the lightest on the market and will be your best ice or mixed climbing companion. Equipped with an Eco Dry finish, both the rain and dirt are kept at bay, while unnecessary extra weight, wear and freezing is prevented. Some other great features include a PFC-free core and sheath and a Thermo Shield treatment that allows the rope to not only glide smoothly but also to provide you with control.
An added bonus: the rope has been sustainably manufactured and has therefore been bluesign certified.
Please note: due to its 7,1 mm diameter size, the rope is not suitable for every belay device. Plus, it requires a great deal of both concentration and experience to ensure that your partner doesn’t accidentally “slip through”.
