Edelrid's first rope that’s half made from reused ropes!
A single rope made from recycled materials, that can’t exist, can it? Actually, it does! Let us present to you the Neo 3R 9.8mm from Edelrid. The rope performs just as well as conventional climbing ropes, yet it saves more resources and is better for the environment.
It’s equipped with a Thermoshield treatment that enhances handling and ensures the rope can lie nicely in your hands, especially whilst belaying. Plus, the core and sheath have been perfectly incorporated into each other thanks to a heat treatment, so the rope is guaranteed to be both soft and compact, and it’ll neither shrink nor stiffen. In addition, featuring a 9.8 mm diameter, the Neo 3R is ideally suited for sport and indoor climbing and can be used with most belay devices.
Upon first use, you won’t even need to unwind the rope thanks to the special lap coiling technique. All you’ll need to do is to pull it and start using it thanks to the cleverly designed packaging. You won’t need to waste any more time unwinding a rope!
