Product description
Crashpad in XXL - the Crux II from Edelrid is the runway under the crashpads. With a surface of 210x115cm, it offers a whole load of space to land on. The means calmed nerves, even in mean highballs.
The pad has a four-layer sandwich construction with three different grades of hardness - this way falls are absorbed optimally, without spraining your ankles. The Edelrid rug included is for cleaning your climbing shoes before the ascent - at the end of the day, it shouldn't fall apart because of a missed step.
The high-quality carrying system with adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt ensures that getting the 8.4 kg crashpad from block to block isn't too much of a chore. The Crux II is just rolled up and fixed in place with strong aluminum buckles. And if you still get annoyed now and again about the excessive length of it when you're transporting it, it will all completely level out by evening. The XXL crashpad even makes for a fantastically comfortable sleeping mat - good night!
