Product description
Order your rope and hit the climbing wall - with the Boa Gym with 3D lap coiling technology. This high-performance rope for climbing walls is ready for use straightaway with no twists or kinks. This is due to our lap coiling machine that specially coils the ropes at the Edelrid production facility. The packaging design has been redesigned as well - the rope is easy to pull out of the new packaging, so you can start climbing straightaway.
This might seem like a rather trivial luxury compared with Boa Gym’s rock solid technology. The Sports Braid Method braids two yarns over one single one, creating a particularly fine and compact sheath structure. LinkTec technology involves bonding the sheath and the core of the rope together during braiding to totally rule out sheath slippage and to equip the rope for the tough top-rope requirements at the climbing wall. Thermoshield technology has been applied to the rope to harmonise the core and sheath yarns.
The benefits of all of this technology are plain to see – smooth handling, high abrasion-resistance, easy gliding through all pieces of protection, no shrinkage or stiffening - to name just a few. Boa Gym will keep every indoor climber happy - and not just in the short term!

Used for 24 indoor climbing sessions and is already frayed. I noticed one point where the sheath looked quite bad. Asked the opinion of centre staff and they recommended that I stopped using it. (My previous rope is still in use by a friend.)
