Very well made and designed Ice Axe. I have used it on two serious Scottish climbs now and will continue to prefer this over my trusty but old grivel for one axe routes. Only criticism is that it is too light on harder snow routes. Difficult to get real momentum at times to get a good bite. Don’t use tether with this one. Don’t need to given nice design features.

Doesn't fit in the hand well
Have used various ice axes including pterradactyls on Blue Riband, Zero gully etc and more modern tools. Always with a tether (leash). Would not be useful to drop an axe and see it slide away. Looks like a great tool. I would like one. Great design features as Ian says.
