If you’re looking for a compact, lightweight ice axe, the Attila Lite from Edelrid is just the thing. This ice axe is ideal for ski touring and glacier travel. It has a slightly curved aluminium shaft, making it incredibly light. The aggressive pick is made of steel and suited steeper terrain. The axe features an ergonomically-shaped grip around the head so that it fits comfortably in your hand when you use it for support. You can also build a T-slot anchor with this axe very easily. There’s a centroid marking to make the job easier. All in all, the Attila Lite is a functional ice axe and is an absolute must for glacier travel.
