The Tech Duck Trousers 2.0 from Dickies can handle rough conditions with ease. The trekking trousers are great for various outdoor activities and can also join you on multi-day trekking tours and long hikes. They’re made of a flexible and durable material. The material is also breathable and temperature regulating, so moisture will be wicked away to the outside.
Reinforced knees and six pockets
Thanks to the almost straight cut and the articulated knees, you can move around freely in the Tech Duck Trousers 2.0. The knees have been additionally reinforced with an abrasion-resistant material for enhanced durability. Another great feature includes the belt loops that let you wear a belt if you need to. As for storage space, the trousers are equipped with six pockets. The cover flaps over the leg pockets that keep your valuables secure round off the features.

These trousers are nice, the fit is good and they feel well made however they should not be advertised as walking trousers. Compared to other walking trousers, these are stiff, heavy and would be cumbersome to wear on a hike. It's a shame as I was excited to see dickies had made a walking trouser as I really like the fit of their work trousers. Unfortunately these are less suited to walking then some of their work trousers, in my opinion at least.

These aren’t walking trousers. Incorrect of Alpinetrek to advertise them as such. Check out Dickies own website. These sit in their work wear range, for which they are perfectly suited. Think of these as being made of jean like material, but tougher, with stretch also a tapered fit. Good for dog walking, gardening and general activities.
