Product description
Ski tourers have been waiting for this harness: the Choucas Pro from Blue Ice. Boasting patented leg loops with aluminium buckles, the harness is so easy to put on that you don’t even have to take off your skis or crampons to do it!
As if that weren't enough, the weight of the whole harness has been reduced to a 140 grams. In other words, this harness is leading the way when it comes to ultra-light harnesses and is a great option as a reserve in easier mixed terrain. It’ll hardly add any weight or bulk to your pack. Was in the market for harness upgrade; I switched from Black Diamond Alpine bod to this harness.
I got more tech features on the harness for less weight and bulk; less prone to freezing and comfortable.
I've tested on alpine, aid, sport and trad routes.
Only thing I was disappointed about was the shock cord; I had to tie a bowline so that the leg loop would stay in the correct position.
