Product description
The Black Diamond Mondo crash pad is an absolute must on high top outs. The pad features multi-density foam, consisting of closed-cell PE foam on top and a high-density PU foam on the bottom to provide a soft landing surface. With its shoulder straps and hip belt, the simple harness system makes carrying the pad to the boulders convenient and comfortable. Once you’re there, you can unfold the pad and position it wherever you like. If you have several pads with you, the corners will help make for a continuous landing surface between the pads. The stowable shoulder straps and handles on each of the four corners make it easier to change the position of pad when it’s on the ground. If you happen to fall or just need to let go, you’ll be happy to know that the pad provides a continuous landing surface. As for the material, the top is made of nylon, whilst the bottom and sides are coated with polyurethane to shield the pad from abrasion and water. Plus, the bottom of the crash pad is coated with rubber for better grip on slippery surfaces.
