Product description
Perfect for paying out slack, catching falls and lowering - the Black Diamond ATC Pilot. This semi-auto tuber boasts intuitive handling and a minimalistic design. The special construction pinches the rope between the carabiner and the tube when the climber falls off or weights the rope. When lowering a climber, all you have to do is feed the rope through the system while rotating the device. This will ensure that your partner is lowered nice and smoothly.
The Black Diamond ATC Pilot is made to be extremely easy to use and durable. The part of the device that comes into contact with the rope is made of durable and stainless steel. For improved handling, the handle is made of tough plastic and boasts an ergonomic surface. Black Diamond recommends using the belay device with a HMS carabiner that allows for enough room for rotation. The Black Diamond ATC Pilot will give you the safety and security you need at both the gym and the crag.
