Product description
Professional avalanche set with a shovel, probe and avalanche beacon
The Alpine Avy Safety Set from Black Diamond contains all the components backcountry skiers or freeriders need. The set includes a Black Diamond Recon LT Beacon, a Transfer LT Shovel and a Quickdraw Carbon Probe 240.
The components at a glance:
Recon LT Beacon
The beacon from Black Diamond is one of the lightest devices on the market, weighing only 137g. Thanks to Bluetooth, you can manage the settings and do updates straight from your phone. With its three antennas, the modern beacon offers a circular reception range of 50 metres. It also has a mark function for multiple burial scenarios. The Recon LT Beacon can be connected to the PIEPS App via Bluetooth and is compatible with the iProbe. A carrying system for the beacon is also included.
Transfer LT Shovel
A lightweight and durable avalanche shovel: Transfer LT Shovel from Black Diamond is included in the Alpine Avy Safety Set. It features a riveted and strong blade made of stable aluminium. The two-piece telescopic shaft is completely removable, so you can store it away compactly. The shovel is UIAA certified and only weighs 405g.
Quickdraw Carbon Probe 240
The Carbon Probe 240 avalanche probe is 240cm long and is equipped with a lightweight Kevlar cord. Thanks to the Cordlock technology, the probe does not need to be placed in a stuff sack in your backpack, so you can use it very quickly.
