The hardshell jacket is made of a three-layer GORE-TEX 40D Most Rugged material and has completely sealed seams. As a result, the jacket with the breathable membrane is waterproof and windproof.

The MTN Guide Alpine Pro Jacket from Berghaus reaches higher up at the neck and is equipped with a hood to keep out the rain and wind. Even when you’re wearing a climbing helmet, the waterproof hood fits perfectly and can be adjusted with just one hand. The hood has a short, stiff brim to offer you a clear view in stormy weather.
As for storage space, it’s provided by the two high-set front pockets that you can reach when wearing a climbing harness or carrying a backpack. The jacket is completed by underarm ventilation zips for extra air flow during tough ascents.
