I bought this for using as a prussik when rapelling, but due to the sewn and covered area it is only just too short for enough wraps - I'd say go the next size up if this is the purpose you are wanting to use it for. But can't fault the quality!

I've used this for a bit but I seem to prefer my open loop prusik cords, I've been in situations where the sewn part of the loop got in the way, and have not had that issue with a knot in an open loop yet. The loop grabs consistently when used, and so far holds up well, so if sewn loops work well for you, I think this can be a valid option.
