Lightweight 2-person tent for trekking tours
Thanks to its practical pack size and low weight, the Apteryx 2 2-person tent from Bach fits easily into your trekking backpack on your next tour. The tunnel tent can be set up by two people in just a few minutes and can be securely anchored to the ground with the 12 ultra-light pegs included. During assembly, the lightweight aluminium poles are inserted into the appropriate channels, making it impossible to assemble incorrectly. Thanks to its tunnel construction, the trekking tent is very stable and offers little surface for the wind to attack, even in stormy weather. The outer walls of the tent extend to the ground to protect against unwanted wind penetration into the inner tent.
Plenty of storage space in the inner tent and awning
The side pockets on the walls of the inner tent provide space for personal items such as your smartphone and torch, which are quickly to hand at night. The spacious vestibule offers enough storage space for two hiking backpacks, cooking utensils and other equipment. The ventilation openings on the top, in combination with the breathable mesh fabric of the inner tent, ensure a pleasant climate inside even at high temperatures. At the same time, the windproof and waterproof outer flysheet made from lightweight GorLyn 30D Ultralight functional fabric is coated with silicone and does not absorb water. Last but not least, the groundsheet of the Apteryx 2 2-person tent from Bach is reinforced with a hardwearing TPU coating and protects against water penetration.
