The Backland FR 24+ from Atomic is a 24-litre ski touring backpack built for day trips in the snow. Its compact size is ideal when you are travelling light, while the ski/snowboard carry system makes it a practical option for winter terrain. It also features a helmet carrier and a rope attachment. In short, this pack is clearly designed for ski touring – from a brand with deep roots in the sport.
Secure and stable on long ascents
Thanks to the chest strap and hip belt, the backpack sits securely and close to the body. The padded shoulder straps add noticeable comfort on the move and help distribute the load evenly. This gives you a balanced carry, especially on longer ascents or over varied terrain. Also useful on the go: the backpack is compatible with a hydration system, so you can keep fluids close at hand.
Top loading with flexible volume
The main compartment is top-loading with a roll-top closure, so you can pack it easily from above and adjust the volume to suit your load. The PU-coated outer and water-repellent material help keep out light rain, snow and splashes. For smaller essentials, there is a crampon compartment, a front zip pocket and a key clip, keeping frequently used items within easy reach and your keys secure.
