The Heliad 15 from Arc’teryx is a deliberately simple daypack that transitions seamlessly between everyday life, travel and short outdoor trips. With a volume of 15 litres, it offers plenty of space for items such as a jacket, water bottle, snacks or tech gear.

The mini ripstop fabric used is lightweight yet surprisingly hardwearing and has a water-repellent finish. This means the backpack can easily withstand light showers or damp environments without getting soaked through. Weighing around 200 grams, the Heliad 15 feels almost like a drawstring bag, but offers significantly more structure and durability. This lightweight design really proves its worth, especially when travelling or used as a backup backpack.

Well-thought-out simplicity rather than clutter

Inside, you will find a main compartment, a separate stash pocket for a tablet or hydration bladder, and a security pocket for smaller valuables. On the outside, there is an easily accessible zipped pocket that also serves as a stuff sack when you want to stow away the backpack.
