Product description
Stay dry in any weather
The Alpha SL Jacket from Arc'teryx is perfectly suitable for your alpine adventures. Thanks to the combination of GORE-TEX Pro and GORE-TEX ePE, you are optimally protected against rain and wind without compromising on breathability. The hardshell is durable, yet comfortably lightweight thanks to its thin material structure. With a hydrostatic head of 28,000 mm and taped seams, you will stay dry even in heavy rain showers. With its sophisticated design and technical refinement, Arc'teryx sets the standard for anyone who values reliable equipment.
Reflective details for greater visibility
Practical details such as the full-length front zip make it easy to put on and take off, even when the weather changes quickly. The adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with visor protects your face from wind and rain, while the zipped chest pocket offers space for small items. In addition, adjustable cuffs and an extended back ensure an optimal fit. Last but not least, reflective details increase your visibility, especially when dusk sets in in the mountains.

- Reliable protection from rain and wind
- Lightweight, durable material for comfort

Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
I have an Alpha jacket already and bought this is a lightweight option. It is incredibly light. Incredibly simple design. I also had an earlier incarnation of the alpha SL (10+ years old), and it was much heavier and thicker. This is alarmingly thin and light by comparison. However, it is claimed to be robust. Remains to be seen how tough it is. If it stands up, it will be ideal for easier alpine mountaineering and via ferratas. Definitely not tough enough for thrutchy winter climbing.
