Product description
Lightweight walking boots with a mid-cut collar
The Aerios Mid GTX from Arc’teryx has a design inspired by trail running shoes, but are great for long hikes. The lightweight and mid-cut walking boots are equipped with a lightweight last that ensures comfort and prevents your feet from getting tired quickly. They feature a durable and recycled polyester upper and have a rubber coating at the toes and on the sides to prevent the shoes from getting damaged by scree and stones.
Grippy outsole for good surefootedness
As the name suggests, the Vibram Megagrip sole offers excellent traction on a wide variety of surfaces. It also offers a good rolling motion, which feels very pleasant on long tours. Completed by a lightweight EVA midsole and an ergonomic insole, the boots will cushion your every step and offer support.

Initially incredibly comfortable - like running shoes.
Less than one year of easy walks has rendered the boots unusable. I now feel every stone, the insole slips while wearing, creating cold blistered toes and they have needed two sprays already to attempt to maintain any kind of waterproofing.
