Product description

Insulating down jacket for winter sports activities

When the temperatures drop, the Dublin down jacket from Alvivo will keep you nice and warm. You can either wear it on its own or as a mid-layer beneath a hardshell jacket. This jacket features a high-quality down fill for warmth and the construction of the down baffles prevents cold bridges from forming. Plus, the jacket is windproof and boasts a warming hood, so you’ll be cosily protected on stormy days.

Comfortable and compact

In addition to being soft, the jacket is also very durable. Some other great features include the elasticated cuffs and the stretchy hem, which ensure you the perfect fit, while two front pockets offer you space to stow away your essentials. Since the jacket boasts a small pack size, it is the ideal companion for ski touring and mountaineering. A warming backup in your backpack!

The advantages at a glance:

  • Windproof down jacket for ski touring
  • High-quality down fill provides excellent warmth
  • Perfect for (multi-) day trips thanks to its small pack size

Hi James,

A quick look on the ALVINE website gave me this - "The Alvivo Dublin men's down jacket is a rugged all-rounder for everyday wear. It is extremely versatile, durable, lightweight and highly compressible. The practical hood and cuffs on the sleeves protect the body from heat loss."

The weight - average size M / L is approx. 660 gramm.

Kind regards,

Remy

Good jacket

All in all - happy with the purchase.
The jacket works well at around +5..-3*C, but I wouldn't want to be stationary for long when the temperature drops lower.
It's lightweight and comfortable. The hood is a bit stiff, though.
"Breathability" is good.

Sizing: I'm EU 54 (55 after a hearty lunch), and XL kinda fits, but it's tight. Down filling works well if it's fluffy, so I chose XXL, which is roomier, yet not baggy, it works, and it allows for layering.

I wouldn't buy the jacket for full price, but it's a very good value for money with discounts.
