These trail running shoes are equipped with a tough, breathable mesh upper and maximum cushioning to keep you comfortable on long runs. Their Vibram Megagrip outsole ensures excellent grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
Natural foot position
A spacious toe box and Altra's signature 0 mm drop keep your feet in a natural posture. This allows them to spread out comfortably, ensuring a natural positioning in the shoes. In addition, the lacing allows you to adjust the shoes perfectly, while practical pull tabs make it easier to take them off.

I've worn the Altra Lone Peaks for years but finally decided to give this a try. It's definitely a bulkier shoe and more substantial, but for me it's also more stable and feels like it will last longer than the lone peak. It does take a bit to break them in, but now they're very comfortable and great on long hikes with rough terrain.
