Comfort and safety are crucial in open terrain, but also on the slopes, so that's exactly what the Gems ski helmet from Alpina offers! It’s totally lightweight, ventilated over a wide area and offers extra protection due to the Edge Protect construction. Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate plate that enhances In-mold helmets. It covers the edges on the underside of the helmet, therefore protecting the Hi-EPS and increasing the durability of the helmet.

Safety is important, without a doubt, but comfort also plays a major role. After all, who wants to wear an uncomfortable ski helmet that may not even fit properly? To ensure that the Gems succeeds in this area, the back of the head features a so-called Run System Ergo Snow flexible adjustment system in order to provide you with the perfect fit. In addition, the Lavalan lining keeps your head warm on cold days and can be removed when not needed, further enhancing the levels of comfort. And if things heat up so much that you even start to sweat under the helmet, you can even remove the ear pads too. All that's left to say is: Gems on - and on your skis!
