Waterproof walking boots in retro look
Stylish and functional, the Slope Original GTX walking boots by AKU can do it all! The upper is made of durable and abrasion-resistant leather. The GORE-TEX membrane also makes the shoes waterproof and breathable. Solid stability is provided by the higher collar and the flexibly adjustable lacing. Toes and heels are reinforced to provide good protection on rough terrain.
Durable outsole and anatomical fit
The anatomical fit of the shoe provides a high level of wearing comfort and supports the natural position of the shoe. The cushioning midsole allows you to comfortably tackle longer distances. The boot was only tested "at home". Well made and well put together, I found the heel area a little too big, allowing slight movement of the heel on my personal in-sole. Due to fallen arches, I now have to get the larger (longer) size 48 boots. Wanted the boots for trekking.
These boots will be returned and a different pair will be ordered to evaluate. An expensive business for size 48 boots as there is not many easily available.
