The high percentage of Merino wool guarantees amazing odor control and a lot of warmth, even when it's wet. The synthetic fiber adds stability to the material and means that the wool jacket can be machine washed at 60°C. The airy knit lets a lot of air into the material and insulates well against the cold.With a material thickness of 600 g/m², this jacket offers a lot of warmth and is especially suitable as a mid-layer in very cold temperatures. Thanks to the thumb holes, the sleeves always stay in the right position and the elongated back panel prevents the backside from being exposed while touring. This means you're always well protected from the cold! This jacket was made in Sweden and each jacket has the tailor's name stitched into it to guarantee its quality. My older full zips are plain, but most recent has a big “Woolpower” logo on the outside.

Hello Clair, This is one of Woolpower's Ullfrotté models that is very much unisex. As a reference for women with the Ullfrotté garments, you need to downsize so, for example, if you're a women's size M then you should choose size S.
