The Harpie Trail from Veja are Veja's first pair of shoes developed specifically for trail running. They have been designed for varied nature trails, technical trails and longer distances. Weighing just 275 g (in EU size 43), they combine an agile running feel with the comfort you need on longer runs. Plus, the 6.7 mm drop and stack height of 27.4 mm at the heel and 20.7 mm in the forefoot create a good balance between cushioning, stability and ground sensitivity.

TerraGrip outsole for control on any terrain

For a reliable grip on a wide variety of trails, Veja relies on the TerraGrip outsole. This has been designed for use on forest tracks, gravel, loose surfaces and more technical terrain, so it ensures excellent traction off the beaten track. Meanwhile, the midsole, made from Amazonas rubber (20%) and organic-based EVA (20%, of which 16% is sugar cane), combines cushioning, stability and energy return for long off-road runs. With a hardness of 48 Asker C, the sole is designed to be in the medium to firmer range. The Asker C-value describes the hardness of rubber and foam materials on a scale of 0 to 100. Higher values indicate harder materials, whilst lower values indicate softer ones. As a result, the Harpie Trail ensure a stable ride without compromising on comfort.

Lightweight upper offering high levels of comfort

In addition, the AeroShell outer fabric is made from 72% polyester and 28% recycled polyester. It's particularly light, breathable and dries quickly, even if you come into contact with water or damp conditions whilst out running. The anatomical fit is based on the natural shape of your feet, thereby offering high levels of comfort over long distances. A thermo-formed heel provides better support within the shoes, while the perforated insole effectively wicks away moisture. Lastly, practical pull tabs help make it easier to put them on before your next trail adventure.
