Dynamic for fast sessions
The U-TECH Solo 2 from True Motion are clearly designed for speed. These shoes feature a pronounced rocker geometry in combination with the newly developed Biomechanic concept to ensure that your feet are guided forwards in a controlled manner. Especially practical during faster runs or intervals, this creates a fluid movement sequence that propels you forward. This construction is particularly useful when you want to run efficiently - on easier runs, however, the setup feels more responsive than comfortable.
Reactive cushioning with clear feedback
A newly developed Nitrogen Foam is used in the midsole, which is noticeably light and provides a very direct energy return. As a result, your running experience feels firmer and more reactive than softly cushioned. For you, this means quick reactions when pushing off and clearly defined ground sensitivity, but less comfort reserve for longer, gentler sessions. This is all supported by the central U-TECH construction, which keeps your foot stable to ensure a consistent ride, especially at higher speeds.
Lightweight upper with performance fit
In addition, the recycled woven mesh upper sits snugly on your feet and adapts well thanks to its revised last, which is particularly noticeable during quick sessions. The last is kept deliberately minimalist in order to save weight and strengthen your connection to the shoes. Together with the high-traction SHPR rubber in the outsole, the result is a setup that works reliably on dry roads and firm surfaces. At just under 300 g per shoe, the U-TECH Solo 2 are pleasantly lightweight and therefore well suited to fast training runs or races.
