The North Face - Bastion 4 - 4-person tent

The Bastion 4 4-person tent by The North Face gives up to four expedition members a place to sleep, shelter and protection against the weather. It has been designed for extreme use at high altitudes and remote regions and has a robust construction for defying the elements. Its geodesic design is supported by a DAC aluminium frame and protected from the ground with a stable tent floor made of 70D nylon. With its high hydrostatic head of 10000 mm, the tent is absolutely reliable on snow and damp surfaces. For the canopy, The North Face has used durable but lightweight 40D nylon that can withstand even stormy conditions. The numerous inside pockets and places to hang up your belongings make the Bastion 4 a comfortable outdoor home from home, even when the storm is raging outside. Each side of the generous entrance area can be opened individually. However, it remains firmly connected to the floor via the securely anchored middle section with window. It provides not only versatile storage for equipment and bags, but also a windproof place for cooking or snow melting. Although the efficient ventilation system of the Bastion 4 doesn’t provide expedition members with additional oxygen, it does let in enough fresh air. The professional focus of the Bastion 4 can be seen in every detail – From a fully tape-sealed floor, through sturdy reinforcements on particularly hard-working parts of the canopy, to cold-resistant PU windows that can effortlessly withstand temperatures of -50° C.
