Product description
The Bong piton from Stubai is designed for those exploring alpine routes. However, it can also be used by big wall climbers. It is characterised by its wide shaft with a wedge-shaped profile. Meanwhile, its three distinctive carabiner eyelets offer the option of driving it in at different depths.
In addition, this product is a hard steel piton. As a result, it is suitable for rock types such as granite or gneiss. This piton builds up a lot of tension thanks to its extremely wide V-profile, making it perfect for wide cracks. However, you do have to find such suitable cracks and use a lot of force with the rock hammer in order to hammer it in.
