A garment can only be sold as being waterproof if the garment has taped seems. We can confirm that this coat has also taped seams.

Yes. This jacket is also breathable but considering the price , do not expect the same levels of breathability as , for example , a Gore-Tex membrane. Perfect for everyday use though.
