comfortable, but too fragile for mountain use

The mat is comfortable, lightweight and packs down very well, but unfortunately I found the material too fragile for the type of use it is intended for.

Mine was accidentally punctured by a sharp object while packing my backpack. I didn’t realise until reaching my overnight camp on the mountain, where I discovered the mat was completely unusable. This left me without any insulation from the ground for the night.

I appreciate that any inflatable mat can be punctured, and the damage was accidental, but for a product designed for trekking and mountain camping I would have expected a little more puncture resistance.

Good in terms of weight, comfort and pack size, but after this experience I wouldn’t rely on it again for remote or high-altitude camping
