Funny, I previously bought a pair of Vaude cycling shoes and they came with spare Shimano SPD cleats but these Shimano SPD cleat shoes DID NOT come with SPD cleats so I have to purchase those separately. Bit crappy of Shimano to not include a set with the shoes. I bought new water bottles and they came with straw cleaners and extra hex screws for bottle cages. That's a nice touch and I'll recommend that product to others (Bivo Duo). In the same light I'll mention Shimano cheaping out on the cleats wherever shoes come up in conversation.
Comfy and solid shoes despite Shimano trying to milk me for more money after I've already bought the shoes. The additional price of cleats being put on the buyer is a grubby sales tactic on Shimano's side of the equation and despite have two different pairs of Shimano cycling shoes I think I'll go with a different brand next time as a direct response, speaking with my wallet.
