Product description
The Women's Spin Ultra from Scarpa is a real high-performance machine. This running shoe boasts a lightweight construction and precise fit for long distances and technical trails. It features a cushiony, lightweight Velox Max LB sole with a 6mm drop for fatigue-free comfort on long days in alpine terrain. For the outsole, Scarpa used Vibram MegaGrip rubber complete with Litebase technology. The sticky rubber has been reduced in weight but delivers the same grip and traction on rugged and technical trails. The Women's Spin Ultra is full of other mountain-ready features, including a narrow ARS6 last and the Sock-Fit system with Autofit Collar technology for a secure and comfortable fit. I'm a 5.5 wide fit in brooks ghost 12 . I'm wondering if this shoe comes up small , or how wide the toe box feels . Should I size up To a UK 6 , is that 39.5 ? Any advice please ?! I'm looking to run forest trails , parkland , river paths and se road to get ther too .

Hi Susan, Scarpa in general will have a regular fit at best so not at all suited to a wider foot. I'd rather recommed you have a look at either the Altra Women's Timp 2 or perhaps The Inov-8 Women's Roclite G 290. Both will suit your needs well in terms of use and fit. Both come up a bit shorter than the Brooks.. so same or half size bigger. probably UK5.5 or UK6 is the right fit
