These do what they are meant to and hard to fault but still my feet were super tired and sore after long days. We were trecking with heavy packs on mix terrain including glaciers (with crampons). Perhaps a bit hot in lower terrain as it is hard to open them too much and keep them done up. not sure this can be resolved by another model/brand so just something to suck up
