This is what other customers say:
Hi, can you suggest a woman’s synthetic boot for a wider foot please? I see in answer to another question you suggested Lowa or Hanwag. I can’t find either of these in synthetic. Thank you.
Hi Sam, From what we have currently available in synethic options to suit a wider foot, have a look at boots from Altra , Adidas, Keen or Mammut.
Hi Laura, According to Scarpa an EU 39.5 equates to a UK 6.
Please could you confirm the length of the guarantee on these boots?
Hi Dana , There is a two year manufactures warranty from Scarpa.
I have slightly wider than average feet, UK size 5, will these be comfortable? I have not had trouble with cheaper walking boots but when I tried on more expensive ones I noticed some brands are too narrow for me.
Hi Madeleine, Scarpa could work for wider feet but it's likely you'll be better off with Lowa or Hanwag :-) I'd suggest the Lowa Ferrox Mid:https://www.alpinetrek.co.uk/lowa-womens-ferrox-pro-gtx-mid-walking-boots/
Hi Christine, Scarpa state that these boots are vegan friendly. Like any other boot on the market, if it rains long enough and hard enough your feet will get wet. The Gore-tex lining will have it's limits but you can help maintain that over time with the likes of Nikwax.

I ordered a size 42 as I am normally a 41 or 42. I always check the CM sizing of any shoe I buy because I find a huge size inconsistency between 41 and 42 out there. So I checked and saw that Scarpa's 42 is meant to be for a 27cm foot, so I bought it considering my foot is 26.7 cm. Sadly, the shoes is way too small. It feels like a size 40. Otherwise I would have loved to keep it, as it looks fantastic and seems robust. Have not worn it though so these are in-the-box impressions. I just wish sizing would be more accurate as this is a constant problem for me with many brands :(

Hi Lyne,
These will be a little too light weight and lack the support you may need. Something like the SCARPA Women's Terra GTX would be a much better choice.
