Product description
Versatile climbing shoes for advanced climbers
The Arpia V from Scarpa are versatile climbing and bouldering shoes for more advanced boulderers and climbers. They are significantly more aggressive than entry-level models, but are still comfortable and versatile. You can easily wear them for sport climbing and bouldering on crags and in the gym.
Construction
They’re designed for optimal sensitivity and friction. The relatively soft sole is made from 3.5 mm thick Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber, which provides a good grip and is particularly suitable for volumes and standing against the wall. Combined with a relatively aggressive downturn, the shoes are best suited for modern bouldering and short, steep sport climbing routes.
Fit
The fit of these shoes is best for medium feet. However, you can easily adjust the width or tightness of the shoe using the two hook-and-loop fasteners. Scarpa recommends these shoes for people with Greek-shaped feet. This means that the second toe is larger than the big toe. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in your shoes.
Conclusion
The Spot is the perfect all-rounder for bouldering or steep sport climbing routes. It has a talent for friction.
